Maca and Lucuma: The Andean Duo That Sweetens Without Sugar

If you have tried our blends you will have noticed something: they are smooth and lightly sweet, yet they contain no added sugar. The secret is not a sweetener - it is two Andean ingredients with centuries of history.
Lucuma: the caramel of the Incas
Lucuma is a Peruvian fruit with golden flesh and a flavour all of its own, somewhere between caramel and roasted sweet potato. As a powder, it brings natural sweetness and roundness. It is in almost all of our blends - it is our signature.
Maca: the root of the Andes
Maca grows above 4,000 metres in the Peruvian Andes. Its taste is reminiscent of malt, and it gives a creamy body to the White Matcha Blend, our smoothest blend - the favourite of people who 'don't like matcha' (yet).
Real sweetness, clean label
No syrups, no artificial sweeteners: ground fruit and root, nothing more. It is more work than adding sugar, but it is the only way to make the label say what we want it to say: ingredients you recognise, every single one. See for yourself in the ingredients tab of any of our blends.
