Everything about your matcha.
Is the colour really natural?+
Yes, always. Every colour comes from a whole food: yellow from turmeric, blue from butterfly pea flower and spirulina, pink from beetroot and pitaya, black from vegetable charcoal and cacao, green from matcha, white from maca. We never use artificial colourants - the colour is the ingredient's own.
What is matcha and how is it different from regular green tea?+
Matcha is the whole green tea leaf stone-ground into powder: you drink the entire leaf instead of steeping and discarding it. We use ceremonial-grade matcha from Japan, with its natural caffeine and L-theanine.
How much caffeine does it have?+
A 2 g serving of matcha provides about 60 mg of caffeine, roughly half an espresso. Our rooibos versions are naturally caffeine-free.
How do I prepare it?+
Put 2 g (one teaspoon) in a bowl, add 80 ml of water at 80 °C and whisk for 20 seconds with a bamboo whisk in a W motion until it foams. For a latte, top up with your favourite milk, hot or cold.
Does it fit my diet?+
Our blends are vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, nut-free and with no added sugars. Only natural ingredients - nothing artificial.
